Sheldon Marche

Sheldon started riding trail and dirt bikes around the age of 10.
Switched to riding street bikes and got his bike license at age 23.
Bought his first street bike (Yamaha 650 Maxim) in 1993 so he could sell his car.  Rode that bike for a few years.
In 2009, while training for the Olympics (OK it was training/qualifying to do first aid for the Olympics) a friend told him about a 1998 BMW K1100 their friend had for sale.  Went to look at it and found it was a 1989 K100, and wasn't allowed to test ride it.  Sheldon said to his wife that he'd rather get a Gold Wing.  She said call Mike (Barker) A week later and thanks to Mike Barker and John Waddington he was riding his first Gold Wing: a 1984 Gold Wing 1200 Interstate.
Started practicing with the drill team to practice
riding and enhance skills and help as a blocker at the performances.  Also helped drill team with providing motorcycle first aid at local cycling events.
In 2010 upgraded to a 1996 Gold Wing Aspencade.  Continued riding with drill team to practice riding and
enhance skills and help as a blocker at the performances until 2012.
Continued to help the drill team with providing motorcycle first aid at local cycling events.
Rejoined the BCMDT in 2018, attaining the level of drill team member.
In 2019 upgraded to a 2012 Gold Wing Airbag, NAV, ABS.
Looking forward to learning to ride his new bike like he's gotten used to on his 1500.
